The techniques I use are a blend of watercolor, inks, acrylics, oils, graphite, pencils, charcoal,
pastels, airbrush and other mixed media.
I work on paper, canvas, wood and any other surface that I get the chance to create on!
I let my mind wander outside the mundane to the unusual and let the ideas come to me.
Each character that I create tends to have its own personality...
I let that character in my head come forward, to be put onto the sketch pad...
(It really gets interesting sometimes when there is more than one creation at a time trying to
make it out!)
I draw my ideas in quick thumbnail sketches,(On envelopes, sticky notes and scrap paper!) and
then work on fleshing out the idea in my sketch pad or canvas.
I prefer to use live models, but I do just as well with photo references I take for my art. I
then draw them freehand to the final surface that I then ink and paint.
I am constantly working on new paintings, and as I get them finished I will be adding them
to the site!
